Rita Sadhvani
Rita Sadhvani is a seasoned technology executive and product leader with nearly two decades of experience driving innovation and growth at some of the world’s most influential companies. Most recently, she served as a Director at Amazon, where she led a $535 million global business focused on optimizing supply chain technology and inventory health. Her work has consistently combined strategic vision with deep technical insight, delivering measurable business outcomes at scale. Over the course of her 18-year career, Rita has held leadership roles across Fortune 100 companies and founded Techforgoodlives LLC, a venture aimed at using technology for social good.
Rita Sadhvani’s path began with the logical world of engineering at IIT Kanpur, followed by a Masters in economics, building her leadership around solving problems at the intersection of technology and business. Across three decades, she has tackled diverse challenges ranging from overstock inventory reduction to digital parenting, at Amazon, Verizon and AT&T, bringing her curiosity to deliver value to firms and delighting customers. Today, she channels this same curiosity into board roles at The Literacy Lab and CommuniKids, where technology meets social impact. Through an initiative between industry and middle school districts, called the FutureTechies program, she has introduced middle school students to solve real world challenges leveraging technology.
She comes to LSI not with answers, but with questions (and angst) about how leaders can drive innovation to drive meaningful social change—and a genuine eagerness and excitement to explore these challenges alongside others who share this sense of possibility and responsibility.
