About the Event
Retiring from a career defined by high performance and constant demands raises a question that gets far less attention than it deserves: what comes next, once the title is gone. Join three leaders from BCG’s CEO Advisory: Christine Barton, Managing Director & Senior Partner and North America Lead; Natasha Maldi, Global Senior Director & Principal; and Melanie Gaynes, Associate Director, for a conversation on how retiring CEOs and other senior leaders can approach this transition with the same intentionality they brought to their careers.
Drawing on their recent research with more than 25 former CEOs of companies with more than one billion in revenue, the authors will explore what separates executives who thrive in retirement from those who struggle, and how to think about building a life beyond the corner office. The conversation will also touch on why continued learning, including around AI, remains essential even after stepping down.
