Kevin Tubbs
Kevin Tubbs served as Vice President, Chief Ethics, Compliance & Sustainability Officer of Oshkosh Corporation, a global leader in specialty vehicle and equipment manufacturing. In this role he led the company’s worldwide programs for ethics and compliance, environmental stewardship, and sustainability across all business segments and operations.
A chemical engineer by training, Kevin earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University and went on to complete a Master of Science in Engineering Management and a Master of Science in Occupational Safety & Industrial Hygiene at the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
His career began at Exxon Corporation, followed by senior leadership roles in environmental affairs at companies including American Standard, Trane and Ingersoll Rand before joining Oshkosh Corporation in 2012.
Kevin is credited with shaping Oshkosh’s sustainability journey-centralizing disparate environmental efforts, establishing clear performance metrics, and embedding sustainability into the company’s strategy and culture. During his tenure the company achieved its energy-use reduction goals ahead of schedule, diverted the majority of its waste from landfills, and developed next-generation electric and low-emissions specialty vehicles and was recognized multiple times as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies and as a member of the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index.
Earlier in his career, Kevin also served as Mayor of Chatham Township, New Jersey, during which time the township was recognized as “Best Place to Live in New Jersey” and earned early Sustainability Jersey certification.
A strong believer that sustainability and profitability go hand-in-hand, Kevin emphasizes that business success must align with social and environmental responsibility. He championed innovation with intent and led Oshkosh’s 15,000-plus teammates in advancing the company’s mission to empower people, build communities and make a positive environmental impact.
