Stephen Potter

Lead Director, Miami Corporation; Retired CEO of Northern Trust Investments and Vice Chairman of Northern Trust Corporation

Stephen N. Potter is active in a wide array of corporate, civic, and philanthropic activities in the United States and the United Kingdom. He presently is lead director of the Miami Corporation and the Nuveen Churchill Business Development Corporation, and also serves on the Boards of Walter Scott & Partners and Rush University System for Health. He is also Chairman of the Advisory Board of Arkadiko Partners, a London-based advisor on sustainability and stewardship to large asset owners and asset managers, and the Japan America Society of Chicago.

In 2018, he attended the Advanced Leadership Initiative at Harvard with focused work in Community Health and Equity through Rush, and the establishment of West Side United, a collaborative of Chicago anchor Healthcare institutions.
