Amy Rubinstein
Amy Rubinstein is an executive and career coach, consultant, facilitator, and mediator. Amy has the unique ability to connect with all types of people, to listen deeply and empathize to help her clients build self-awareness and utilize new possibilities. She collaborates with leaders to assess their strengths and development areas and then works to help them grow and accomplish desired behavior changes, increased effectiveness, and career advancement.
Amy is a principal at Base Consultants, a consulting firm specializing in coaching, leadership development, and conflict management. She also works with The University of Chicago Booth School of Business career coaching MBA alumni, facilitating group coaching and leadership development sessions, and leads staff training sessions.
Amy has worked with leaders in various industries including Consumer Products, Higher Education, Professional Services, and Financial Services. She has over two decades of experience in Human Resources and Leadership Development. She utilizes her experience as a mediator, coach, and consultant to help her client’s problem solve; and identify options. Her passion is to help individuals lead authentically and see new possibilities to be at their best in their job, organization and in life.
Amy earned a Masters (MSOD) in Organizational Development from Loyola University, and a bachelor’s degree in communications from The University of Arizona. She is certified in Hogan and The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. Mrs. Rubinstein is a certified mediator through the Center for Conflict Resolution and performs mediations for the Cook County Court system. She is certified in The Coaches Training Institute (CTI) Core Coaching Curriculum, and Crucial Conversations. She has served on several nonprofit boards, enjoys volunteering, hiking, yoga, reading, cooking and spending time with her husband and two adult children.
