Charlie Huebner
Charles K. Huebner is a private equity investor and co-founder of RCP Advisors, where he serves as Managing Partner. Since founding the company in 2001, RCP has become a leader in North American small buyout strategies, investing over $18 billion across funds, secondaries, and co-investments. In 2017, Charlie and his partners established P10, Inc. (NYSE:PX) as a major private markets solutions provider which serves investors globally through RCP and other leading alternative investment managers.
Before founding RCP, Charlie held senior leadership roles in leveraged finance and capital markets: he was Executive Vice President at Heller Financial; at the time, the leading private credit provider to middle market private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies. Earlier in his career, he built private credit, leveraged finance, and loan syndications experience at Security Pacific (now Bank of America) and the Irving Trust Company / Bank of New York (now BNY Mellon).
Academically, Charlie holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Economics and an MBA from the University of Michigan and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder.
Charlie is deeply committed to community and the arts, particularly at the intersection of the arts and childhood development. Most notably, he has served as a trustee of the Merit School of Music for over 15 years (including Board Chair during the COVID years; currently a Life Trustee).
Charlie has been married to Caroline Huebner for 30 years and they have raised two children in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood.
