John Pintozzi
John Pintozzi is an energetic, accomplished business leader with over 35 years of insurance, financial services and investment experience. He spent the first 15 years of his career with Deloitte and attained the role of audit partner before leaving in 2002. He then joined Allstate and served as the CFO for both its life insurance and retirement business and its investment group.
He retired in August 2024 from the role of corporate controller and enrolled in Kendall College’s culinary school in September 2024. John has a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Northern Illinois University and a master’s degree in finance from the University of Chicago’s Booth graduate school of business. At Kendall, he earned certificates in culinary arts and baking and pastry.
John is passionate about giving back to our communities through extensive not-for-profit board service. He is a lifetime trustee of the Chicago Architecture Foundation where he served 8 years as board chair. He also serves on the board and as Treasurer of the Goodman Theatre and previously served on the Chicago Boys & Girls Club board. John is also a member of the Economic Club of Chicago.
John’s interests include travel, live theatre and music, photography, tennis and cooking.
